How to get LTW registered for kitchen hoods? 

Life Time Warranty (LTW) is offered for 12 years from the date of purchase. To avail the LTW, it is mandatory to install the kitchen hood by calling on our toll free no. 1800 209 3484 and by representatives from our authorised service centre only. The registration form should be duly filled and sent to FFIPL along with a copy of the invoice and Installation Service Order Number within 30 days from the date of purchase. Warranty will be valid only on showing the Lifetime Warranty Letter and Bill/Invoice. In case warranty is not registered within 30 days from the date of purchase, Lifetime Warranty will be null & void. To register for Lifetime Warranty after 30 days, submitting a proof of invoice along with a payment of Rs.1,000/- is mandatory. The registration of Lifetime Warranty will be at the sole discretion of FFIPL.

What does the hoods warranty cover? 

Motor are covered under LTW. PCB carries 1 year warranty. However, the warranty does not cover consumables like bulbs, switches/knobs, filters, outer body metal/glass/plastic parts, filter locks, etc. of the chimneys.

Is cleaning covered under the hoods warranty?

It is advisable to get the product serviced/cleaned at least twice a year through our Authorised Service Centre by calling on the Toll Free no. 1800 209 3484. You may also enrol for a Faber Cleaning Contract (FCC) for trouble free servicing by company authorised service centres. Any routine maintenance/cleaning/servicing visit will not be covered under this warranty and will be provided on a chargeable basis as per prevailing rates/charges. Please refer to the product user manual for detailed terms and conditions of the warranty.

Procedure:

Install FABER products by calling on our toll free no. 1800 209 3484 and by representatives from our authorised service centre only. 

Present the Warranty Card and the bill/invoice for validation.

Freestanding Cooktops Warranty

a. Glass breakage due to improper use or accidental damage. 

b. Use of Gas tandoor/ Gas Oven/ Dosa Tawa.

c. Sprinkling of water on hot glass surface.

d. Other safety norms/ precautions not followed.

Defective cooktop with the valid warranty card and proof of purchase i.e. Invoice/Cash Memo have to be produced to the authorized and designated service center for rectification by the buyer at his own cost during working hours.

The warranty becomes null and void in following cases: 

1. Installation/ Service/ Repairs/ Modification carried out by the persons other than those authorized by FFIPL.

2. Removal, alteration or tampering of serial number of product and its component or any parts. 

3. Failure due to misuse/ negligence/ accident/ action of pests/ rodents/ or act of God – lightening/ flood/ fire/ earthquake. 

4. Failure due to use of non-genuine parts.

5. Damage occurred due to improper external circuits and failure due to erratic power supply or electrical short circuit. 

6. Damage to the product due to operation in an abnormally corrosive Alkaline, Acidic atmosphere or use of harmful chemicals. 

7. Change of ownership and appliance taken out of country.

8. Defects resulting from accidents or damage while in transit to or from our service centre.

9. Commercial or Professional use of the cooktop.

Plastic/rubber/metal/aesthetic/consumables (battery) parts are not covered in warranty.

Any routine maintenance/ cleaning/ servicing visit would not be covered under this warranty, and would be provided on chargeable basis at prevailing rates/ charges. (All visits after warranty of 24 months will be on chargeable basis and standard visit charges will apply).

Whether defective item or components are to be replaced/repaired shall be left to the sole discretion of FFIPL. In case of replacement of a part, the defective part removed from the appliance becomes the property of FFIPL.

Services would be provided within normal working hours (0900 to 1830 hrs.) on regular working days only except Sundays and Public holidays.

FFIPL undertakes no liability in the matter of consequential loss and/ or damages caused to the customer or third party due to failure/ malfunction of the cooktop. FFIPL obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing the defective parts only.

 

Tempered Glass top, Burners and Valve carries 24 month warranty for any manufacturing defect. Warranty is not applicable for De-coloration of burners. The warranty for glass becomes null and void in following conditions.

a. Glass breakage due to improper use or accidental damage.

This warranty is valid only if the warranty card is duly filled in, stamped and signed by the authorized dealer and the Warranty Registration Copy is dispatched within 7 days of purchase.

Defective cooktop with the valid warranty card and proof of purchase i.e. Invoice/Cash Memo have to be produced to the authorized and designated service center for rectification by the buyer at his own cost during working hours.

The warranty becomes null and void in following cases:

Jumbo Series (Warranty for Cooktop sold to Customer after 1st March, 2019. Refer Warranty Card for Warranty Terms on Cooktop purchased upto 28th February, 2019.)

The warranty period will be 24 months from the date of purchase. Manufacturing defects will be rectified free of cost during the said period..

Brass burners carry warranty against any manufacturing defects for 60 months. Warranty is not applicable for De- coloration of burners.

Valve carry warranty against any manufacturing defects for 24 months. Warranty is not applicable for De-coloration of burners.

Tempered glass top carries 60 month warranty for any manufacturing defect. The warranty for glass becomes null and void in following conditions.

7. Plastic/rubber/metal/aesthetic/consumables (battery) parts are not covered in warranty.

8. Any routine maintenance/ cleaning/ servicing visit would not be covered under this warranty, and would be provided on chargeable basis at prevailing rates/ charges. All visits after warranty of 12 months will be on chargeable basis and standard visit charges will apply.

9. Whether defective item or components are to be replaced/repaired shall be left to the sole discretion of FFIPL. In case of replacement of a part, the defective part removed from the appliance becomes the property of FFIPL.

10. Services would be provided within normal working hours (0900 to 1830 hrs.) on regular working days only except Sundays and Public holidays 

11. FFIPL undertakes no liability in the matter of consequential loss and/ or damages caused to the customer or third party due to failure/ malfunction of the Hob Cooktop Hybrid. FFIPL obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing the defective parts only.

12. Any dispute is subject to Pune jurisdiction only.

Hoods Warranty (1 year Comprehensive and 5 years on Motor)

1) The warranty period for Motor will be 60 months. Touch Button, Switch PCB Control/Main PCB carries will be 12 months from the date of invoice. However, warranty does not cover consumables like bulbs, Switch/ Knobs, charcoal filters, outer body, metal/ Glass/ plastic parts. Filter locks etc. of the chimney.

2) The warranty does not cover Charcoal Filters. Metal Grease Filters, Lamps and Glass.

3) Defective Appliances with valid warranty card has to be produced to the dealer or the authorized and designated service centre for rectification by the buyer at his own cost during working hours.

4) This warranty does not cover defects resulting from accidents or damage while in transit or to our service centre.

5) This warranty does not cover damages traceable to alterations, unauthorized repairs, tampering or alteration of any part, failure to follow instructions in installation or operation, misuse or negligence in use of Appliances or damages caused by the act of God, lightening, fire or floods.

6) This warranty is valid only if the warranty card is duly filled in, stamped and signed by the authorized dealer.

7) Warranty is valid from the date of purchase of the chimney.

8) Whether defective item or components are to be replaced / repaired shall be left to sole discretion of Franke Faber India Pvt. Ltd. In case of replacement of a part, the defective part removed from the Appliance becomes the property of Franke Faber India Pvt. Ltd.

9) This appliance is designed for non-professional use by private individuals at home.

10) Glass or Glass Parts are not covered under warranty.

11) Any disputed subject to Pune Jurisdiction only.

Products Warranty (1 Year)

1) The Warranty period will be 12 Months from the date of invoice . Manufacturing defect will be rectified free of cost during the said period.

2) The Warranty does not cover Charcoal Filters, Metals Grease Filters, lamps and Glass Visor.

3) Defective Appliances with the valid Warranty card to be produced to the dealer or the authorized and designed service centre for rectification by the buyer at his own cost during working hours.

4) This Warranty does not cover defects resulting from accidents or damage while in transit or to our Service Motor.

5) This Warranty does not cover damages traceable to alterations, unauthorized repairs, tampering or alteration of any part, failure to follow instructions in installation or Operation, misuse or negligence in use of the Appliances or damages caused by the act of God, lightening, fire or flood.

6) This Warranty is valid only if the warranty card is duly filled in, Stamped and signed by the authorised dealer.

7) Whether defective item or components are to be replaced/repaired shall be left to the sole discretion of Franke Faber India Pvt. Ltd. In case of replacement of a part, the defective part removed from the Appliances becomes the property of Franke Faber India Pvt. Ltd 

8) This appliance is designed for non-professional use by private individuals at home.

9) Glass or Glass Parts are not converted under warranty.

10) Any dispute subject to Pune Jurisdiction Only.

Nexus Built-in-Hobs (1 Year)

1) The Warranty will be 12 months from the date of purchase. Manufacturing defects will be rectified free of cost during the said period.

2) Five Years warranty on burners (Not for Decoration).

3) Two year warranty on Toughened Glass (on Built-in-Hobs and Hobs Cooktop Hybrid).

4) The Warranty does not cover Charcoal filters, Metal Grease Filters, Lamps aand Glass Visor.

5) Defective appliances with the valid warranty card proof of purchase/cash memo have to be produced to the authorised and designated service centre for rectification by the buyer at his own cost during working hours.

6) This warranty does not cover defects resulting from accidents or damage while in transit to or from our service centre.

7) The warranty becomes null and void in following cases

  • Installation/ Service/Repairs/Modifications carried out by persons other than those authorised by FFIPLL.

  • Removal, alteration or tempering of serial number of product and its components or any parts.

  • Damages occurred due to improper external electric circuits and failure due to erratic power supply.

  • Damages resulting to the product due to operation in an abnormally corrosive Alkaline. Acidic atmosphere or use of harmful chemicals.

  • Change of ownership and appliances taken out of country.

8) This warranty is valid only if the warranty card is duly filled in stamped and signed by the authorised dealer and the warranty registration copy is dispatched with in 7 days of purchase.

9) Whether defective item or components are to be replaced/repaired shall be left to the sole discretion of FFIPL. In case of replacement of a part, the defective part removed from the Appliances becomes the property of Franke Faber India Pvt. Ltd.

10) This appliance is designed for non-professional/ non-commercial use by private individuals at home.

11) Any dispute is subjected to Pune jurisdiction Only.
